Baby's first ultrasound!

Today we had our very first ultrasound for baby #2! They were a little off on my due date. It's been moved to May 7, 2009. Yup...ANOTHER May birthday! hehe. They said that the baby is very healthy so far, as is mom. The baby was doing little flips as we watched him or her on the monitor. In the first shot the baby is laying on his or her back, in the next the baby flipped to show the back and in the other he or she is flipped to the front. Michael was the same way! Michael was very excited to see his little sibling on the ultrasound monitor! He is going to be a great big brother! He is already learning how to share really well.

We're Pregnant!!!

We have exciting news! We're expecting our second little bundle of joy! I am just about 2 months along and we are due April 30th! I've been feeling sick for the past couple of weeks and yesterday morning I was changing Michael's poopy diaper and as soon as I saw it and smelled it I had to put Michael down on the floor with his undone poopy diaper between his legs and haul butt to the toilet. I barely made it. After that I figured I should get a pregnancy test. Sure enough we got two positive tests! I waited till Adam got home and then had Michael give him the positive pregnancy test that said "Pregnant". Adam got tears in his eyes and we were both so excited we could hardly stand it! Michael seems pretty excited every time I tell him that he is going to be a big brother although I'm sure he has no idea what I'm talking about just yet.

We have our first ultrasound appt on Sep 30th, so I will post that picture when we get it. :-)

Playing the Piano!

Playing the piano is something that Michael loves to do as often as possible. Since our piano is in storage we often let him play on my keyboard, but when he is at Grandma's houses he prefers the big piano! He very much enjoyed pounding out some beautiful tunes with Grandma Tobler. He gets VERY proud of himself when he makes music. :-)

New Cubby Hole!

Michael loves his cubby holes and he loves to climb so when Grandpa Weeden brought in his newly built entertainment center Michael quickly learned how to climb into it and play. He is so smart!

Science Center

At Adam's work they gave the employees a day at the science center with their family for a discounted price. We decided to go because although Michael could play with a lot of the stuff he could look at it and he loves to explore and look at new things. We had a lot of fun and plan to go back again soon.

Building Forts

Michael loves to crawl into little cubby holes. When I was little I loved to build forts so I figured Michael would love it to. Michael and I built a fort and then daddy got home and we all got to play inside. Michael was in heaven!
